Services

We are a full service general contractor, bringing together the perfect construction specialists and artisans for each custom home. Most importantly, we work directly with you and the design team through all phases of the construction process, from initial design development to final certificate of occupancy and beyond. We pride ourselves in completing all of our projects on time and under budget.

Permits
We work with the architect, engineer, and design team to submit and obtain all necessary building permits.
We provide preliminary estimates at the design development stage to help guide the architect and design team to work within an overall budget. This preliminary budget is based on historical pricing from projects that were a similar size and scope of work.
Once plans are complete we solicit hundreds of bids from qualified local contractors to develop a comprehensive budget. This budget encompasses everything from the initial groundbreaking all the way to the final certificate of occupancy. Once approved by the owner this budge becomes our Guaranteed Maximum Price contract which is also tied to a specific construction schedule and completion date.
During the bidding process, many value engineering ideas become apparent to us which we then propose to the entire team. These are actual ways to value engineer which is the classy way to say reduce costs. This value engineering does not stop at just the bidding stage but continues throughout the entire construction process.

In addition to the comprehensive Guaranteed Maximum budget, we tie this budget to a detailed construction schedule. This schedule incorporates critical start dates, material selection dates and pivotal completion dates which keep the project on schedule.

Through our weekly Owner, Architect and Contractor meetings we provide full-service construction administration focusing on all areas of the construction and design related elements. These weekly meetings are essential to review critical construction and design related elements that arise during construction. They also keep the entire team up to date pricing related items and schedule.

Jeremy Larson - Owner
Jeremy grew up watching his father Rick meticulously pay attention to detail in all phases of construction. During high school and college, he owned and operated a painting remodeling company. He graduated from Colorado State University with a BA in Finance and Real Estate. His goal working with clients in real estate financing and portfolio management was to make sure that things were done right the first time and with the highest level of attention to detail. He decided to join the family business and is an integral part of the team in working with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
Growing up watching and helping his Dad remodel and flip houses gave him his start in construction, and he officially launched his career in 1996. Since moving to Colorado in 2001, he has worked for some of the most elite builders in the Denver area as a project estimator. He has been involved in projects of all sizes, from one-room remodels to large custom homes and high-end remodels, which earned awards and local magazine articles. His keen attention to detail, in combination with organizational skills, is valued and appreciated by his clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors. He is drawn to the challenges inherent in custom homebuilding. It’s his passion, and He is excited to wake up every day knowing that he gets to build someone’s dreams.
Abel has been a resident of Denver since moving from Zacatecas, Mexico in 1994. Abel and his family have since become US citizens. He is a detail-driven executive supervisor specializing in luxurious custom homes with over 30 years in the construction industry. He is an experienced bilingual tradesman in all fields of construction. He knows all aspects of the construction process, working directly with project managers, homeowners, subcontractor supervisors, architects, engineers, and inspectors from initial excavation to final certificate of occupancy.
Nic hails from Granby, Colorado, and grew up working summers at his family’s excavation company. He became a trim carpenter in 2002 and ran his own company for eight years. Working for over 28 years throughout Denver and the high country, Nic has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the construction industry. His history of first-hand trade experience greatly benefits his current position of executive supervisor. Nic brings a sharp eye for detail, high-level coordination, and a team-player mentality to his role with Montare Builders.
As Shawn grew up in Colorado, he experienced the state’s growth and desired to be a part of its transformation, so he joined the construction field. Shawn enjoys working with his mind and hands, which is evident from his years of experience in the communication and construction industry. He is an energetic executive supervisor with personal expectations to complete complex projects timely. Shawn is continuously motivated to maintain customer satisfaction and is obsessed with getting details precise. On the weekends, he enjoys remolding his own home with the help of his family.
